Writing is hardly the sole topic of this journal. Photography, cats, dogs, men, life, the universe and baking cakes may well be mentioned from time to time!
Amiable visitors aged 18+ are always welcome to join in the conversations here.

Hey Adele, your LJ is lookin great. I must admit the old one was a bit hard to read though I like the idea of it - A Novel Conundrum. I've been messing with mine as well. I'm using Smooth Sailing. Your colours are good. Let me know what you think of mine. I actually post for a change so you can comment. By the way, how did you create the guestbook? Great idea.
*facepalm* I've just noticed your new layout! *loves the glittery guestbook title up top!* You've done a fantastic job! A beautiful journal for a beautiful lady. :)
I know, I know totally cliche, but I never know what to write in the subject line. Excellent new lay out and love the guestbook. May have t give it a go and see if I can make anymore connections. I see you have a myspace site, I'll be in contact that way to. Love the pic you have. catchya Lorraine

Your site is very interesting and you are obviously multi-talented. I know of a young beautiful girl, an actress and excellent Gothic short story writer who hanged herself in 1998. I have some of her short stories. Would be interested in coming to one of your workshops.

Like the new format!! pretty. I have to agree with what you say on writing. My own thoughts are - the story doesn't begin until there are some words on the paper (or screen, if u write on the pc), and it doesn't finish until you get to the end! (Whatever and where-ever it takes you to on the way). One of mine goes on for five sequels. One day I'll find a publisher who isn't trying to rip me off. One line I followed wants £770 up front, and 80% of the royalties. Fat chance! Adele's big brother!
Adele, I was discussing, with a work colleague, a park I worked at one summer, over 40 years ago. I thought I'd take a chance and see what the net would reveal and guess what! your photographs of the park appeared. Great stuff, Great memories. Thanks Bernie Ontario Canada

Happy birthday to me... etc, etc, etc. How are you, what you been upto. I've just been working and writing my ms, I've written the end and the beggining of the second ms but got completely stuck on the middle so i've stopped because my brain hurts (don't laugh). I recieved some birthday cards from Peter's family, one saying sister-in-law and another saying auntie, mum says it is too wierd hearing, or rather seeing me being called Auntie Vikkey. Any way got to go, hope to see you soon, with Peter in tow aswell, he can't get out of going to see you unless he drops dead. Be good. Vik. xx.
Hi, just wanted to say I enjoyed your LJ with dog photos today and I will certainly check Amazon for your book. I recently decided to put my garden journal on LJ but I don't have any pics yet. I am working on my first fiction book and the garden writing is my "warm-up". But please tell me, how do you manage to write one, two, three books (even short ones!) with distractions like LJ?
Hello Adele... great website. The home page reminds me of "Tales from the Darkside" and I can even hear their theme song in my mind. I'm the guy that did the "Temple on an Asteroid" that you said you liked... got your we site info from the Amazon Sci-Fi... I'll respond further there. Take care. Gary
